Terms & Conditions of Trade
Last Updated: October 2026. General terms governing online inquiries, indicative quotations, and international commodity trade coordination.
1. Nature of the Website & Quotations
This website is operated by United Saud Indonesia, an international commodity trading and export brand associated with United Saud Group. Content published on this website, including product descriptions, indicative specifications, and estimated figures, is provided exclusively for commercial informational purposes.
Online inquiry submissions and automated system acknowledgments do not constitute a binding contract of sale. A legally binding trade transaction occurs exclusively upon the mutual execution of a formal, written Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) or Proforma Invoice signed by authorized signatories.
2. Specifications & Quality Determination
All coal GAR figures, moisture percentages, ash contents, and palm olein parameters shown on this website are source-listed indicative reference values.
In actual trade execution, quality and weight parameters are governed strictly by the Certificate of Sampling and Analysis (COA) and Draft Survey / Weighbridge Report issued by an accredited independent surveying company (e.g., SGS, CCIC, Carsurin, PT Surveyor Indonesia) at the loading anchorage or terminal in the Republic of Indonesia. The findings of said independent surveyor shall be final and binding for settlement, subject to contractually agreed re-testing protocols.
3. Applicable Trade Rules (Incoterms 2020)
All international commercial quotations and sales agreements are interpreted in accordance with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Incoterms® 2020 rules. The agreed trade term (FOB, CFR, or CIF) determines the allocation of maritime freight costs, cargo insurance responsibilities, and point of risk transfer between seller and buyer.
4. Commercial Banking & Payment Security
Payments for bulk export parcels are structured through internationally accepted banking mechanisms, primarily Irrevocable Letters of Credit (L/C at sight) issued or confirmed by first-class international financial institutions, or structured Telegraphic Transfer (TT) schedules. All banking fees incurred outside Indonesia are customarily for the account of the buyer.
5. Maritime Operations & Force Majeure
Loading schedules, laycan windows, and vessel discharge rates are subject to maritime weather, river navigation conditions, port authority approvals, and anchorage congestion. Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events of Force Majeure as recognized under standard international maritime law, including acts of God, extreme typhoons, government embargoes, or sudden regulatory export restrictions.
6. Intellectual Property & Branding
The United Saud Indonesia wordmark, emblems, site design, text content, and data compilations are the intellectual property of United Saud Indonesia and its associated parent group. Reproduction, redistribution, or mirroring without express written authorization is prohibited.
